2001 HdV Napa Valley Red Wine (Hyde Vineyard)

Aromas of fine spices open up on a harmonious and balanced complex of black fruit and cinnamon. Its deep and solid structure shows for the moment a bit of clumsiness typical of a wine in its adolescence that is crafted to age. However, hints of maturity foreshadow a beautiful wine rewarding patience with finesse, elegance and balance.
